Brand new auction today to benefit my Weekend to End Breast Cancer Walk! This one is so cool:-) Robin from Nothing Like It donated this custom-made :
Breast Cancer Awareness Flattened Cow Coaster
Bessie says ‘Save the-TA-TAs!’
I found Robin’s shop one evening a few months back while I was browsing Etsy for Christmas gifts. I have a wonderful husband who is impossible to buy gifts for. One of his favourite things is ducks. All kinds of ducks. I took one look at Robin’s shop and knew I had to ask her to make me a custom Flattened Duck Coaster for Jon. As you can see, it turned out great! It now lives on Jon’s desk where he uses it every day. I also bought some hilarious Christmas ornaments for myself that are going take centre stage on my tree every year.

Robin has been creating crazy polymer characters for over 5 years now and is always coming up with wild ideas for new sculptures. Everything in her shop is a “one-of-a-kind” creation and no molds are used in any of the polymer clay characters. However, the art is not intended for small children. You can also see Robin’s art at her Flickr page, read about it on her blog and visit her other shop on Artfire.

I'm Helen. I'm a mom of two, wife to my sweetie and I work from home as a telephone advice nurse. 'Triage' is from a french word meaning 'to sort'.
In nursing, it means to determine the level of urgency of care needed- so I'm a sorter of sorts:-)
In my free time, I like to bake and do home projects, like painting (walls, not pictures) My current passion is making handmade soaps and other bath and body goodies.
