Critter With A Cause!

Update: This action has ended and the winning bidder was Janet. Thanks for bidding and supporting my efforts for this great cause!
This little guy is so precious! He was hand needle-felted by Laura from Made by Laura. Made specially to benefit my Weekend to End Breast Cancer walk. You can see the felted tattoo of the Awareness Ribbon on his butt:-)
Critter With A Cause stands about 8″ tall and is about 3″ wide. He is 100% wool and has blue eyes
Isn’t he fun and quirky? Laura makes the most interesting felted items I’ve ever seen. Please have a look at her shop and come back and place a bid to bring this critter home to live at your house.
Laura is a stay-at-home-mom. She has been needle felting for
under a year. She says she can be a bit addictive about some things and needle felting is one of them. Visit her blog, her Etsy shop, her 1000Markets shop, or her Flickr page. She’s a girl with a lot of links:-)
1: Hop on over to Laura’s shops at the above links. Browse around and choose your favourite item.
2. Come back here and leave a comment, telling us:
a) The name of your favourite item.
b) The $ amount of your bid for this quirky Critter.
3. Check back often during the week, to see if you’ve been out-bid. You may bid as often as you like.
4. Bid increments for this item will be $1 minimum (for example: if the highest current bid is $10, you must bid $11 or more)
5. Bidding starts at only $10.00 for this Critter.
Winner will be notified by email and must respond within 48 hours
All payments for items won can be paid via my online donation page at the End Cancer website (or you can pay via my Paypal donation link if you prefer) Net proceeds from the walk go directly to the BC Cancer Foundation.

I'm Helen. I'm a mom of two, wife to my sweetie and I work from home as a telephone advice nurse. 'Triage' is from a french word meaning 'to sort'.
In nursing, it means to determine the level of urgency of care needed- so I'm a sorter of sorts:-)
In my free time, I like to bake and do home projects, like painting (walls, not pictures) My current passion is making handmade soaps and other bath and body goodies.
